Key Events

• Kindle 🔥 joins the party
• Engaged the Earth Genasi and Mephits before they surrender, handing the ledger over to Kindle 🔥 to take a proper look. 
• Sable Guards arrive and Fletcher & Kindle 🔥 move into the hidden office, while Tabitha 💀 & Miraren 🧝‍♂️ stay behind to make sure the Earth Genasi don’t betray us to the Guards. 
• A trap door had been revealed throughout the fight, and when asked if we could enter, the Earth Genasi refused. Miraren 🧝‍♂️ killed one of them and the others ran. 
• 😪 Short rest 😪
• Party heads down the trap door, avoiding traps along the way. 
• Fake gems from back in the warehouse are required to move through the first door, so Miraren 🧝‍♂️ runs back to collect them. Finds a real sapphire while looking for the fakes, it is lost in the process of opening the door
• In the first room, there’s a riddle

• The answer is legs or feet, and Fletcher puts a pair of boots on the shelf beneath the door, and the door opens. 
• The next room houses three alcoves with paintings of various deaths, some weapons, and more riddles

• We had to re-enact the deaths in the paintings to get through the door. 
• The second room housed a chest, a door, and 2 suits of armour which began moving towards us. We tried to engage but found that we didn’t appear to be doing any damage. 
• Miraren 🧝‍♂️ opened the chest while the others kept the suits busy, and found a pair of clockwork keys. Tabitha 💀 and Miraren 🧝‍♂️ use them to wind the soldiers back into their places next to the door, which opens once they slot into place. 
• The third room is a study and Miraren 🧝‍♂️ spots a book that looks out of place on the bookshelf. Following a hunch, Miraren 🧝‍♂️ tilts the book out of place and the bookshelf moves to reveal another room where the crown pieces are laid out on a table with a jeweller's kit. 
• We grab the pieces and Miraren 🧝‍♂️ also gets into a locked drawer in the desk in the main room, discovering Garnet’s diary, a strange stick, and some gold and jewellery. 
• We discover that Sapphire has been ill, and Garnet was hoping to use the crown to pay clerics to treat her.
• We head back to the warehouse through the tunnel and stay hidden while Sable Guards toss the room above us, before heading out to find a Blacksmith. Head to the Blacksmith “By Hammer & Hand 🔨” to get the crown fixed. 
• We notice a lot of “Missing” posters around, and Tabitha 💀 pockets one to look at later
• Fletcher leaves the party
• Spend the night at The Hot Candle 🍺 Inn. 
• 😴Long rest😴
