Fight club - “For you and a friend”

Key Events 

• Becky finds a ruby necklace in her bag with a note, Ridley 🦁 casts detect magic, and discovers that there is transmutation magic dissipating from the item
• Kindle 🔥 receives a call from Zoran 🗡 through the sending stone. A body matching Evangeline’s description has been found outside The Great Black. It appears that she has starved to death. Loravor 😡 appears to have Evangeline’s mother on lockdown, so no one can get near her.
• The party heads to Kelrock 🐲’s house to check on Evangeline, the servant who answers the door - Stephanie - says she’s at the market. We find Evangeline there, and explain the situation. She is confused, but thanks the group for letting her know, and makes her way home to determine how best to solve the problem.
• Kindle 🔥 updates Zoran 🗡 on the situation and the party heads to the tavern to ask more about the fight club. We stop by Goodie 💖’s to ask about our bounties, and find that there’s no real news. Sapphire has been slowly deteriorating, though, and Amal 🐍 is a tyrant.
• Goodie 💖 offers a Custom Bag of Holding ⭐ in exchange for a favour at a later date, promising that the quest will not come with the intention of killing the party, and that no person under the age of 16 would be a target if an assassination was required. The party agrees and Goodie 💖 performs some kind of binding magic on us. The party is to return in the evening to collect the bag.
• We continue to the tavern to find out about the rules of engagement for the fight club. Groups of 2 or more, no limitations on weapons or magic, party may choose easy, medium, or hard and must face a beast/beasts according to the skill level they choose. Easy level could be an elephant, medium a mammoth, and hard level could involve a T-Rex.
• It is decided that Becky and Ridley 🦁 will sit out of fight club and place bets while Miraren 🧝‍♂️, Kindle 🔥 & Tabitha 💀 take part in a medium-level fight.
• While everyone else has a drink, Miraren 🧝‍♂️ and Ridley 🦁 head to the hole in the wall by the Temple of Olo ☠. After descending a staircase, they discover a room filled with boxes and beds that are very old and dusty. There is a second door which Miraren 🧝‍♂️ picks the lock for, and they discover a skeleton sat on a bed holding a note

• Ridley 🦁 feels as if Mesta 🏹 is made highly uncomfortable by the room, and Twiggy 🌳 states that it feels “oddly familiar”. There is also a map that neither of them recognise, and it disintegrates when they try to collect it. Ridley 🦁 manages to memorise most of it before it crumbles, and they both spot a town by the name of “Estaria”.
• In the desk of the room there is what appear to be inventory ledgers, the dates of which read “2156, Constellation Dynasty” (the current year is 3274 Apostle Dynasty). Miraren 🧝‍♂️ finds 3 coins with with the symbol of a crown, surrounded by 4 dots in gold, black, pink and blue. These coins are nothing like the current coins, which bear a triangle split into 4, with the sun, the moon, a clock and the stars.
• The pair leaves the old bunker and heads to Fact & Fiction 📚 for some parchment. While Ridley 🦁 recreates the map, Miraren 🧝‍♂️ heads to Goodie's Convenience 🛒 to ask about the coins. Goodie 💖 takes 2 to his contacts and promises to have more information when we return that evening.
• Miraren 🧝‍♂️ and Ridley 🦁 return to the tavern, where they find Becky holding a distressed stray cat, while Tabitha 💀 drinks and Kindle 🔥 arm wrestles other patrons. Miraren 🧝‍♂️ uses Speak With Animals to talk to the cat and convinces it to stick around for salmon as long as Becky lets it go. He sends Poggin 🐉 down to befriend the cat while Ridley 🦁 and Miraren 🧝‍♂️ explain everything to Tabitha 💀.
• The party then heads towards Goodie 💖’s to collect the bag and information.
