Checking Pending Arrivals, Departures & Room Moves

The system cannot proceed with the Night Audit (rollover) if there are any pending Check-Ins, Check-Outs, or Room Moves in the system.

Your responsibility is to manage Pending Arrivals, while the Duty Manager will handle any Room Moves or Pending Departures.

Generating and Utilising Reports

Utilise the following iHMS reports to ensure all tasks are completed before the system rollover:

  1. Expected Arrival Summary:

    • Navigate to: ReportsArrivals or Before Night Audit ReportsExpected Arrival Summary
    • PRINT the first page and cross-check it against the Guest Registration Cards in the box.
  2. Expected Departure Summary:

    • Navigate to: ReportsDepartures or Before Night Audit ReportsExpected Departure Summary
    • PRINT this report (unless it is empty) and hand it over to the Duty Manager.
  3. Live Scheduled Room Change:

    • Navigate to: ReportsHouseKeepingLive Scheduled Room Change
    • PRINT this report (unless it is empty) and provide it to the Duty Manager.
