Preorder Breakfast Procedure

As a guest promotion, we offer Preorder Breakfast at a reduced rate, provided guests arrange it with Reception before 10:00 PM. Careful adherence to this procedure is crucial to avoid errors and ensure guests receive their breakfast.

Steps
  1. Confirm the number of guests requiring breakfast.
  2. In the "Additional Items" tab, select "Add"
  3. Choose the appropriate breakfast code:
    • For one breakfast: BFAST SPECIAL - BREAKFAST FOR 1 PRE-ORDER
    • For breakfast for the number of guests in the room: BFAST SPECIAL - BREAKFAST FOR 2 PRE-ORDER
    • Example: In a room with 3 guests, use BFAST SPECIAL - BREAKFAST FOR 1 PRE-ORDER if only one guest wants breakfast. If all 3 guests want breakfast, use BFAST SPECIAL - BREAKFAST FOR 2 PRE-ORDER.
  4. Verify the correct dates are entered in the "Start Date" & "End Date" sections.
  5. Important Considerations:

    • Usually, guests order breakfast for one morning, but the Additional Item covers their entire stay by default. Ensure the correct dates are entered to prevent overcharging.
    • If the guest orders breakfast for multiple days, note this in the "Remarks" section of the guest folio for clarity.
  6. Note:

    When entering dates, select the day before the breakfast date, as the system assumes the charge is for the following day.

  7. Payment:

    • The guest can pay immediately or at check-out.
    • If paying immediately, process the payment as usual.
    • Otherwise, close the guest folio after confirming all details are accurate.
