Familiarise Yourself With Functions

The first floor houses our function spaces, Chancellor 1 through 6, which are available for private functions, seminars, and meetings throughout the year.

When a function is taking place, it's crucial for GSAs to be aware of the following:

  • What the function is: The nature of the event (e.g., a seminar on body language or a first aid course).
  • Who is running the function: The company or organization hosting the event.
  • Function times: The start and end times of the event.
  • Which room: The specific Chancellor room where the function is being held.

These details will be available on your movement sheet, or on the Duty Log.

As a GSA, your ability to direct and assist guests in locating the function space is essential.
