Procedure
Arming the System
Before arming the alarm, the system display MUST read "System Ready – Type code to arm" and have a solid green light under "Ready".
- If the system is ready, press the "ON" button (located on the right-hand side of the panel).
- The system will beep for approximately 15 seconds, then stop.
- Once the beeping stops, the red light under "Armed" will be solid, and the screen will display "System Armed All Zones Secure."
Note:
If you see a flashing green "Ready" light, it means a door is open. Close it before pressing the "ON" button. To identify the open door, press the down arrow.
Bypassing a Zone
If a door must remain open, such as the Footlights door for guests using the alternative lifts, you'll need to bypass that zone's reader to arm the system.
- The system must be in the "System Not Ready" state to bypass a reader. Press the arrow buttons to locate the fault.
- Once the fault is identified (e.g., zone 12 - Footlights door in the image above), click 'Bypass' on the right-hand side.
- Enter the code (4426) when prompted.
- The system will ask which zone to bypass. Enter the corresponding zone number (e.g., 12 for the Footlights door).
- Upon successful bypass, the system will display the 'System Ready' message.
- You can now press the 'ON' button to arm the system.
