Hold Up Button Procedure

The Hold-Up buttons are strategically placed under the left and right PCs at the reception desk. In the event of an emergency, pressing either of these buttons will initiate the following sequence:

  1. The Chubb monitoring station will be instantly alerted and will promptly notify the police.
  2. The alarm panel located in the back room will emit a beeping sound, serving as an additional alert to any staff members present in that area.
Resetting the Hold-Up Button
  1. Retrieve the reset Hold-up key from the Duty Manager's (DM's) keyring.
  2. Insert the reset Hold-up key into the corresponding hold-up button.
  3. Access the alarm panel in the back room.
  4. Enter the code 1234# into the alarm panel to deactivate the alarm.
  5. Contact the Chubb monitoring station at 9429 2211.
  6. Inform them if the alarm was triggered accidentally (a false alarm).
  7. If it was a false alarm, they will request the vocal deactivation code: "Haydn, Tara & Hendra."
  8. Clear the system memory by pressing *1# on the alarm panel.
Note:

If the hold-up button is inadvertently pressed, it is crucial to contact the monitoring station immediately. This will help prevent the unnecessary dispatch of police personnel.
