Hold Up Button Procedure
The Hold-Up buttons are strategically placed under the left and right PCs at the reception desk. In the event of an emergency, pressing either of these buttons will initiate the following sequence:
- The Chubb monitoring station will be instantly alerted and will promptly notify the police.
- The alarm panel located in the back room will emit a beeping sound, serving as an additional alert to any staff members present in that area.
Resetting the Hold-Up Button
- Retrieve the reset Hold-up key from the Duty Manager's (DM's) keyring.
- Insert the reset Hold-up key into the corresponding hold-up button.
- Access the alarm panel in the back room.
- Enter the code 1234# into the alarm panel to deactivate the alarm.
- Contact the Chubb monitoring station at 9429 2211.
- Inform them if the alarm was triggered accidentally (a false alarm).
- If it was a false alarm, they will request the vocal deactivation code: "Haydn, Tara & Hendra."
- Clear the system memory by pressing *1# on the alarm panel.
Note:
If the hold-up button is inadvertently pressed, it is crucial to contact the monitoring station immediately. This will help prevent the unnecessary dispatch of police personnel.
