Modifying a Reservation

  1. Verify Availability
    • Confirm room availability for the desired new dates.
    • If available, provide the updated rates to the guest, including any applicable fees or adjustments.
  2. Update Reservation (if applicable)
    • Direct Bookings & Hotel Website Bookings:

      • In iHMS, modify the "Check-in" and "Check-out" dates directly on the reservation.
    • Third-Party Bookings:

      • Inform the guest that they need to make changes through the respective third-party website.
  3. Confirmation and Update
    • Upon receiving confirmation of the date change from the guest or third-party website, update the reservation accordingly in iHMS.
