Reservation Confirmations

Booking confirmations are specifically for direct hotel bookings made via phone or email, which are created by hotel staff in iHMS.

To send a confirmation email to the guest:

  1. Double-click to enter the required folio.
  2. Select the "I like to ..." option in the top right of the screen.
  3. Select "Email".
  4. You will be presented with the following screen:
  5. If the guest's email address is not automatically entered, enter it manually.
  6. Select the "Reservation Confirmation" template from the drop down.
  7. The below template will propagate:
  8. Read through the confirmation letter to ensure all details are present and correct.
  9. If all details are correct, click "Send Email" in the top left corner.
