Inbound Reservations
Inbound bookings usually arrive through the reservations email. The inquirer's company, often mentioned in their email signature, can help identify these bookings, especially if their company profile isn't yet in our system.
Inbound Rates
Inbound rates are different from those offered to OTAs and corporate clients. These rates are updated yearly and have two seasons: Low Season (April to September) and High Season (October to March).
Providing Rate Quotes for Inbound Bookings
Check Availability and Restrictions
- Verify room availability in iHMS and check for any rate restrictions in the 396 Day Load document.
- If the requested dates coincide with a special event, apply the relevant surcharges.
- For dates with limited room availability or special comments, consult the Director of Revenue Strategy & Marketing (DORSM) before confirming rates.
Verify Inbound Rate and Compare
- Confirm the correct inbound rate for the requested dates.
- If the booking falls within a special event period, compare the inbound rate with any surcharges and the rates advertised online.
- If there are discrepancies, seek approval from DORSM before offering a rate.
